Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None Libby and I made the trip to NWA to watch the 12 games of hockey at the Jones Center in Springdale. It was obvious that the players there play more of a checking game. They couldn't seem to give up that style even when faced with numerous penalties and the ever-growing ire of the Little Rock players. So the whole tourney saw game after game of chippy and contentious play. Thank Heaven the guys didn't use the ref from last year.... It was great to see the guys earn the Cup and outplay the home teams who outnumbered our guys almost every game. All 3 levels represented our part of the state well! Thanks for inviting us and please let us know when the next travel opportunities come up!!! Go Blades!!!! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!

We don't get to do that much anymore. We talked about some of the fun stuff that we saw as Blade and Cat fans! Like Brian Leitza....the old Cat's goalie pulling his groin after a loss to the Blades while he was in net for the Baton Rouge Kingfish..... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!

It was a great weekend and was closer than it looked. The short benches were tough, but ended up helping I think. Their better players weren't on the ice as much as ours. And with only two lines, you can really get in a groove with the game. Where as 3 lines has you sitting more than skating. Reffing was the best ever and they did good to keep it under control. The Springdale A team seemed to be the only ones that were being idiots, and LR just wasn't going to take it. And most of those Springdale guys were the UA Club team. So it looks like they have some knuckle heads. But the program will grow and get better. Look for the tourney to move back to January next year. April just kills our participation
